We ALL just want to have a connection!

What if we really could see all God’s children as our sisters and brothers… same family, same needs?

My husband and son had the incredible opportunity to go to Ghana for a month in early 2024. They went there to serve – doing eye exams at Ghana Make a Difference and surrounding villages – but really, they were the one’s that were served by the love and kindness they received there! They made some lifelong friends and were reminded daily of what good people there are ALL AROUND THE WORLD and that it is never the “stuff” in life that makes us happy… it is the LOVE.

LaVar showed the youth at GMAD some of our music and they especially liked this song, so he offered to help them make a music video singing this song! He recorded their awesome voices, and videos on his phone, and sent me the files. It was an emotional experience watching and listening to them sing as I put the video together. ❤️ We truly “all just want to have a connection, yearning for love and craving affection… God’s family with the same needs.”

Life becomes so much bigger and sweeter when we see each other as sisters and brothers. A huge shout out to our sisters and brothers in GHANA for sharing that vision and LOVE with us!!
