Long Ago, Far Ago is the Christmas Story.

Our family is growing and each time I hold a sweet, new, grandbaby, I can’t help but think about who they are and what their impact on the world will be. Most of our impact will be small, and I think that is a blessing. I believe the greatest impact we have is on those closest to us and we have an opportunity every day to make a difference there.

Jesus Christ came uniquely as the begotten Son of God to do something personal for each of God’s children. He came to bless and save all of God’s family through His atonement, death and resurrection. He came to save. He came to heal. He came to redeem. He came to ransom. What an incomprehensible, selfless gift He has given us and now we simply have the opportunity to believe, to receive, and to follow.

Jesus has been the constant in my life, the reason I have not given up when things have been beyond my strength to deal with. He has given me reason to not only keep going, but to trust and to hope and be excited and joyful about the future!

I hope you feel His love for you, not just at Christmastime, but EVERYDAY. ❤️
