Who are you praying for? WHO IS PRAYING FOR YOU?

I’ve been so excited to share this song with you! It is a duet with my youngest son, Kyler. There is so much behind this song and I feel like it’s something we can all relate to, PRAYER.

Who has poured out their heart to God for your needs, your comfort, your healing? Maybe even for years…

It’s a sobering thought. If we realized how many of our blessings were an answer to someone else’s prayer, no doubt it would be overwhelming! Who here, and on the other side of the veil, is praying for us?

Have you hit a wall where you realize you are powerless to change things? I’ve been there.. With an aching heart, I finally turn it over to an ALL POWERFUL, ALL-KNOWING, ALL-LOVING GOD who sees us, knows us, and loves us… and laying my fears and concerns at His feet, my heart begins to change and I start to see His will unfold in my life and in the lives of those I love.

That is a powerful place… where God can make weak things become strong.

I’ve come to trust in the power of PRAYER. His answers and timing are perfect…not easy, but perfect. I continue to work to trust, have patience and surrender so I can see His mighty hand in my life and in the lives of those I love. He has the long view and the overview of it ALL.

Kyler, my youngest, has been here to watch our family go through some hard times. I’ve wondered how he has processed some of the experiences. But I know one thing for sure, his prayers have strengthened me when I didn’t have the faith.

There is something powerful about praying out loud in our quiet places… communicating with our Father the way we would with a friend. In a world of distractions – don’t we all need that peaceful time?

I KNOW He hears us… in our spoken prayers on our knees and the silent prayers in our hearts.

The amazing thing is how He answers our prayers… so often from the inside out, it changes us when we pray. It softens us and gives us new eyes and a new heart.

Something in us changes

Something in us grows

Something rearranges

Only Heaven knows

It’s my belief that there is someone right now praying for YOU.

A mountain’s gonna move

A wall is gonna break

The fog is gonna lift

And you’ll have strength to wait

And when you’re feeling tired

Please know you’re not alone

He’ll always be beside us

We’re never far from home…

So each and every night

Until we see the light

I will pray for you

So often I tell people, “I will pray for you”, but it’s hit me more recently that there is so much more power in pausing to pray for the people we care about … sometimes it’s all we can do, but often it may be the BEST thing we can do..

When someone tells us, “I will pray for you”, let’s be strengthened by their faith and watch for God to work miracles in our lives. 🤍

YOU ARE LOVED,

Kimberly
