At church, I work with the children teaching beautiful songs to grow their faith in Jesus Christ. It is one of my favorite places to be! As I was looking for Christmas music, I wasn’t finding a song that quite captured both the message and spirit of Christmas that I was hoping to teach these precious children. So I put in a request to my mom- and have been thankful every day since that I followed the impression to add to my mother’s already full plate!

Since my first week teaching it at church, I have had endless comments full of emotion of the beauty and tenderness of this song! A mother of one darling 3-year old texted me within hours of church asking for a recording because her son hadn’t stopped singing “allelujah” 😊 Sadly, it was so new we didn’t have one yet! But it got us working quick on releasing this song so that it can continue to bless others the way that it has blessed our family, church, and that little boy.

The privilege of bringing it to life with my children has been overwhelmingly powerful. This song so beautifully and uniquely tells the Christmas story, and then does so much more! It brings to life the significance of each piece to that perfect night, and what they are meant to teach you and me! The last verse that powerfully illustrates the majesty, and yet reverence of that first Christmas night, is an image that won’t be forgotten. Jesus Christ HAS brought HOPE, PEACE, and the ultimate example of LOVE that makes Him “our Savior, Redeemer, our King.”
