What a blessing to FLY with those we love through the highs and lows of life.

There’s a part of you – that’s a part of me

In everything I do, in everything I see

The world looks bigger though your eyes

And it’s a powerful feeling

And it comes as no surprise

that I’m at home when I’m with you.

When I wrote this song. I had a dream of all 11 of our children singing together. We are co-pilots on life’s journey together and it’s a joyful, sacred, and precious ride.

There were so many small miracles that brought everything and everyone together to make this song happen – and I am so grateful – it’s very symbolic of life.

Nathan – our son – is close to getting his pilot’s license, so I got the wild idea to find a pilot and a plane to really make this visual come alive!

I soon learned – God can handle big ideas.

A family friend has a plane – and a generous heart – and offfered to bring his plane to a small, pretty airstrip in the Idaho mountains.  Nathan was able to fly with him cand we got some stunning footage for this song!

We have been on some breathtaking “flights” as a family together over the years and I wouldn’t trade their compaionship for anything in the world…

Flying with our family  – helping them see all they can be – is God’s work – and what a beautiful view!
