Heavenly Parents? Eternal Families? A purpose for being here? Yes!!

Last fall I was in New York City about to cross a busy street, when 2 beautiful women came up to my friend and me and asked, “do you know that we have a Heavenly Mother and scriptures witnesses of it?”. I answered “Yes!”, but I wanted to share more, and I could tell they did too.

I have 7 daughters and 9 granddaughters, and I want them to believe and trust that they are created in the image of their Heavenly Parents, that they are divine, and they are loved! I believe, particularly as women, we need to acknowledge that more and look for all the things that witness of this truth.

In the process of writing this song, I was filled with a great sense of awe about our Heavenly Parents, who they are, who we are, and the incredible purpose of why we are here. I felt a glimpse of our Eternal Family, with a compassionate Heavenly Father AND Mother and their children…each of us here!

This plan is so amazing….so astonishing…. and there are truly a “Million Reasons” why I believe.

“There’s a Father pleading we’ll know He’s near, there’s a Heavenly Mother reaching out her hand….to feel their love and understand.”

We were blessed to go visit Heidi (daughter) and Fisher in California (barely a month after she had her baby!!). While we were there, we had a wonderful time filming at the beach for this video. The beautiful scenery and expansive ocean were the perfect backdrop of the message of this song. We hope you enjoy and share!
