JOSEPH BLOMBERG (Haman) has been performing from a very young age, and has appeared in venues on three continents. As a bass-baritone, Joseph is a musical Swiss Army knife proficient in a wide variety of styles, though his specialty is opera. When the opportunity arises, he prefers to challenge himself by selecting the hardest and most obscure pieces he can find. In high school Joseph performed as a baritone soloist in Fauré’s Requiem, and he has performed in musicals such as The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Camelot. He entered the 2023 Future of Opera competition, winning the whole event and gaining free entry to Utah Vocal Arts Academy’s summer opera festival, as well as performing at the linked “A Divine Night of Mozart” concert. The following year he studied opera under Isaac Hurtado at UVU. Now, Joseph spends his time in his regional LARP scene, competing in historical Bardic performance and winning multiple Arts and Science competitions in the Kingdom of the Desert Winds.
